The pizza is a ripoff. It's tiny and overpriced. I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and it was the WORST pizza I've ever had in my entire life and I've had lots of pizza. The blue cheese added a weird tart flavor and the celery made it taste odd. It was so bad! Terrible! Yuck yuck yuck!!!
What's good here are the meatball sandwiches. You only need a 6" with mozzarella cheese and it will fill you up. At $8 it's a pretty good buy for airport food. I enjoyed the sandwich and would definitely get it again. The sandwich definitely balanced out the pizza. -

This place is such a troll.
DO NO COME HERE.
Ordered a "pizza"...What a frickin pizza!!! It was the size of my palm, and it was like 10$+ with tax. Absurd, I thought it would be at least 3x as big as what I got. It was legit SMALLER than a personal pizza. I should have gone to california pizza kitchen instead.
GO to california pizza kitchen instead. Waste of time and money at this place. AND the pizza sucked. -

YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2017 - PART 3: 19/100
Due to expected delays (because Southwest is known to pull delays all the time) I ended up having plenty of time to get a snack.
I remember enjoying the meatball sandwich last time I patronized this place, so I thought I'd give one of their pizzas a try.
And that oven was convincing enough.
Little Italy + bag of chips should do the trick.
I expected the pizza to be small. What I didn't expect is for it to be already boxed and pulled out of a warmer.
Overall, I paid $15 and change for garbage.
It's true what most of my fellow Yelpers claim. There was nothing good about the set I got. The pizza must have been in the warmer for hours because the tomato sauce was all dried up. The crust was old and bland and almost rubbery. The meat toppings tasted like they were way passed their due date and the cheese was completely coagulated.
And the chips?! They were on the beginning stages of staleness.
I sat and ate nearby just to sort of observe their practice, and there is one significant act I see them do: some customers get those pre-prepped disgusting warmed boxed pizza, and others get them made (cooked out of the oven) to order.
I will admit I ate whatever I got. Because one: I was starving, and two: I hate the idea of throwing food away.
After arduously finishing my meal, I couldn't help but ask one of their workers about that significant inconsistency. I had the pleasure of speaking to Ninfa and informed her my meal was horrible - that a frozen 99c microwaved pizza at home would have been much better. She immediately apologized and further explained that some customers prefer quick transactions, hence, the pizzas in the warmers. Otherwise, there's the option of getting them fresh made - so long as they're given about 7 minutes to complete the order.
I informed her I wasn't given that option. The cashier just casually pulled the box out of the warmer, dropped it in front of me, rang my items up, and finally, a dry "Thank you." She apologized once again and said all customers should have been given that option. She also volunteered to give me a new fresh-made pizza (I politely declined. I was too full at that point.)
Ninfa was very sweet, though. She deserves 5 stars, I love the way she responded.
Personally, I think they should clock how long those pizzas have been in the warmer to avoid disappointments like the one I had. And they might want to expand their menu - even just a bit - and really use that oven to their full advantage!
I might just give them another shot. Here's hoping I get that "option" next time. -

$12 mini, individual mushroom pizza...
PRO: freshly made, herbs & mushrooms were quality, nice employee, quick eat.
CON: verrrry small (I could have eaten two for a meal!), overpriced for the size -

Not as bad as I thought it would be.
In a terminal full of mediocre but expensive options, the Torn Basil fits perfectly in.
Pre-made individual pizzas (averaging $11) are thrown into a fire oven to heat up.
I got the Uptown Pizza, which boasts of fresh mozzarella, caramelized onion, roasted tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar. In reality, the mozzarella did not taste very fresh. I loveeeeee mozzarella, but what I received were huge splotches of congealed cheese that were dissatisfyingly tasteless. There were a few onions throughout, but again lacking flavor: I could see that they were cooked, but it completely lacked the sweet caramelized taste...and even the brown coloring! Best part were the tomatoes which were surprisingly juicy! Entire pizza came heavily doused in balsamic vinegar, which was a little overwhelming.
The pizza dough itself was fluffy and actually not bad. Overall - not a horrible meal, but I've definitely had frozen pizza better (and probably fresher) than this.
